Background on our Adoption

Hilary, a dear friend of Gina's sister, with the help of her daughter and friend in Arizona, connected us to a wonderful birthfamily who lives in Phoenix seeking an adoptive family. We first spoke on March 14th, and have been planning to adopt our son since. The baby will be named Frank Emerson Fatora. Frank (we will call him Frankie) after Carl's dad who passed away early this March and Emerson for Gina's dad Emeric who passed away 14 years ago today.

In addition to our Fairy Godmother Hilary and the girls, the beauty of our story is, that at the Mass (March 5th) before the casket was closed, we were talking to Dad and asked if there's anything he can do from beyond to help us build our family, we would name the baby after him. One week later we got the call. We're choosing to believe it was devine intervention and that Dad has his hand in this, while making sure the birthmother and baby are ok.

The baby is due by C-Section on 4/27/09 @4pm!
